only 2 deleted scenes???
i think this is the big disappointing thing about this special edition. was expecting loads more since half an hour was cut.
shareYeah, I just posted something along these lines... there were about 20 or so scenes that got cut out from the workprint version I have that were not included. Some were minor details, some were very funny. They shoulda been on there though because it was a lot of good stuff. I was also hoping the 2 deleted scenes would be put back in... Everything else on this set far exceeded my expectations, so its too bad for the couple minor complaints I've got.
shareis there anywhere or anyway to see the deleted scenes? or is alex and tom keeping them in storage for "freaked uncut - the very special edition"?
sharejust to update this original query. i watched the deleted scenes before i watched the movie for a second time. i did wonder watching the first deleted scene (wheel of fortune) that "what's deleted? ive seen this before".
now before u say "ur talking crap, its all new", i seriously saw that scene before i got the dvd when it was shown on the TV channel "Trouble" a month ago in the UK. plus when i saw the milkman scene again, it made me think that i did see that scene before getting the dvd, because u see dog boy talking about his secret plan.
i think the second one is definitely one i havent seen before, but shame ive seen the first one still intact in the movie before. shame there werent any more actual deleted stuff, instead of just being rehearsed.
both of the deleted scenes in the DVD are in the australian version of the movie. i had no idea they were cut but i wasn't surprised because they're not overly funny.
...maybe just the goodbye alex winter gives to frogman.

yes both deleted scenes were in the Australia edition of the movie. personally i thought the 'farewell' scene was funny, esp with nosey, plus it helped set the stage for the next act. i think the transition from the board room to the grand finale was too abrupt without it.
