I think this is silly, Frankenstein should always be set in 1800's as it suits that era
I heard few weeks ago they are doing a modern day Phantom that is not going to work!!

I'm not against adaptations or reimaginings ( hell I enjoyed I, Frankenstein) but yeah this sounds horrible. I don't know what to think about the new Phantom of the Opera series, I'll wait to see how it turns out.

yea I know what you mean it does sound horrible, I just don't see how it will work.
As for the Phantom of the opera series set in present day we will have to see what they bring to the table

if they were doing an up to date version from the mini series then that be fine, but a modern day versions sounds silly
