Another movie experience diminished by over scoring and melodramatic act


Too much music. WAY too much.

And Branaugh was over the top with his anguished cries.

Too bad. The film was so visually rich and had so much potential.

Too bad, there were a lot of good things happening, but they were drowned out.

Yeah, the music is pretty over the top. And I usually like that guy's scores.

I love the score to this film. I listen to it on a regular basis and have since I was a teenager and the film came out.

That being said, I think this movie is garbage and a wasted opportunity. Although I love the music I actually agreed that it added to the film's over-the-topness. I think the music OUT of context is amazing but in the movie it's just too much.
