Who do you prefer?
I think they are both quite unlikeable and don't have much chemistry with their respective love interests played by Hugh Grant... Charles in Four Weddings in William in Notting Hill.
I don’t like Carrie at all, plus Andie MacDowell was terrible in this.
Will and Anna are way better than Charles and Carrie.
Imo Will and Anna had a ton of chemistry. 🙂

Andie McDowell is a decent actress and was perfect in Groundhog Day, but here she doesn’t work at all. I don’t know whether that’s due to many of her lines being dubbed which just looks… phoney, or whether she was just miscast as a mysterious glamorous American.
Both women are pretty without being sexy. I’d like to have seen Hugh Grant paired up with a sexy and charming gal like Winona, Demi, Jennifer Connelly, Zeta-Jones, Basinger, Kidman or Kelly Preston.
