Wait. Hold the f up! Were Forrest Gump's stories a result of his imagination, or real (in an alternative earth)?
I always thought that Forrest Gump was a mentally challenged man just shooting the shirt to random strangers on a park bench.
But are you telling me that the movie's message was ultimately that Forrest's world is an alternative reality to where we live, in that he was the center to actual real events?
If that's the case, I just wish they did this in a different way than a "crazy" guy going off on tangents on a park bench. Because in real life you get a lot of those homeless or mentally ill types on benches telling lies about their lives.
