Did Forrest get whatever Jenny died of?
Idk if it was aids or hep c but you would think Forrest and/or little Forrest would have contracted if. I hope not! But I guess it's just a movie and I should not over think it
shareI think it was supposed to be AIDS since the time frame was the early 1980's when she died. My take is that the inference is that Jenny contracted it a few years after she conceived little Forrest. Likely from sharing heroin needles or promiscuity.
shareYeah, but I'm assuming they would have had sex after they got married. Condoms used I suppose. It's the one thing in the movie that I've always wanted a better explanation. Not the sex LoL but what she died of.
shareIt's actually not as common for a man to contact HIV/AIDS from a woman. Almost always, blood has to be involved such as small tears that can occur during certain forms of sex or sex during a particular time of the month. Other than that, it is very rare for a man to get it from sexual contact with an infected woman.
