just one of the many funniest scenes, and look how harry manages to look cool before he throws the match accidentally setting the place on fire. neat how a person they keep talking about in this movie but never appears actually shows up in the sequel, i figure the starting scene in this with the girl on the sidewalk becomes even funnier after the first view of the movie when you realise he is actually the driver, hitting the breaks there as he sees her, and has climbed behind the tanned windows in the backseat of the limo then rolls down in the back pretending to be a big shot to impress her and still reveals he's a complete boob, still notice how he delivers this passionate rich emotional dialogue when he tells harry about meeting mary at the airport, there is some discussion on this board which of the two happen to be the biggest boob, but i think it's clearly lloyd, a lot of his behaviour reminds me of a teenage boy, while harry often seem like his... keeper? i can't think of the right word english isn't my main language but you know what i mean. funny how jeff daniels keep appearing in serious roles, yet right away this is the movie you think of when you hear his name. i just thought of something, even though this is one of the funniest modern comedies, it doesn't make fun of different people or is offensive, that's got to be pretty unusual. weird how there is a sequel between this and the 2014 movie, that is like the italian comedy duo terence hill & bud spencer, where you had these new guys imitating them after their streak ended, then the real actors returned for a new flick (botte di natale), alienates the movie between, right, that must have really drifted off into obscurity after the "real" sequel was made.
