Should have been bloodier and gorier.

With a death machine with big sharp teeth and long razor-fingers, you quite expect some gore in this one, but its very little at all. Sure, you see a mutilated body and a stabbing in leg. But i was expecting a real carnage, with the metallic mofo to rip its victims into shreds, bite their heads off, chew them to pulp, gouge their eyes out with its long claws and stuff like that.

pretty sad this movie is poor at blood and gore, because it deserves a real gore-spicing with a super-hardcore-cool killing robot like this one.

Nope, aaron hamill. Im 21. A 21 year old gorehound. And probably will be untill the day I die.

To clear things up a little bit: gore is not the only thing that I like in movies. But in this movie, a good dose of splatter would have fitted this movie better, especially with a walking meatgrinder like that.

I agree. I hate when movies hold back on blood. I don't need geysers of blood like in Kill Bill or Battle Royale (although I never object to it), but I at least like to see blood where it would be obviously appropriate. It's stupid when blood is held back. Some people are too stingy or "oh my it's offensive" bullcrap.

It done well enough in my opinion, i think the machine chomping through people like a combine harvester would have ruined the film. You KNOW that when it gets you its going to turn you into a chnk of mashed up flesh. It's like the movie Jaws, less is more ;-)

Now if they had it on the Battle field tearing people apart on a 'demo run' or somehting now THAT would be cool!

People complain that the deaths in AvP are offscreen, but they praise this movie.

I saw it, I liked it, but darn it. The deaths that would have been awesome to see are offscreen.

We just see a body that has been torn up.
