Mr. Tibbles should have been two characters
The goofy side of Mr. Tibbles and the serious, corporate side of him seem like two different characters and maybe they should have been. Perhaps there could be a corporate sponsor character and then Mr. Tibbles is a comic-relief liaison between him and Bombay. The more corporate character could be the one who is making Bombay turn against the team and is upset when they lose while the goofy Mr. Tibbles could be the one on the sidelines who has slapstick moments like the assistant David in Angels in the Outfield.
