Ok when Julie the chick goalie gets kicked out for pushing the Iceland guys, the ref says "intent to injury, your out of the game". But when that Iceland guy violently slashes Banks over the wrist, the guy just goes to the penalty box.
And also, where was team Cananda?
Lets just admit it.... this movie is just plain pathetic when it comes to handling actual hockey. It's like a grudge match with no rules or anything. I just plain gave up on these films because they are just not hockey. Nobody even seems serious in this film.
What I can't understand is.... there was a wonderful movie called "Miracle" that was made recently and it was a Disney film.
But yet MD and D2 are made by Disney as well and they aren't even related that much to actual hockey.
Yeah, I always thought that wasn't fair. It was probably intended to exaggerate the fact that Iceland was better, was smarter, was getting all the breaks, etc. Maybe to increase the audience's hatred for "the bad guys." Whatever, it's a kids movie.
