Perhaps I'm just a jackass or just too American but I was a little irked by the way they switched out of their United States uniforms to put on the Duck jerseys. This was a chance to wear the name of your country across your chest with passion and pride and represent the place you grew up in, regardless of the magnitude of the game, and they kind of disrespect that by just shedding the jersey like it meant nothing. Just annoyed me.
shareIt was a about coming together under a common tradition of Ducks. Yes it was probably the one time that some of hte guys on the team would wear that jersey, Jesse Hall. I did think it had something to do with the marketing as well as the sponsoring of real NHL team, the Mighty Ducks of Anahim.
