Errors in mighty ducks 1-3

i got thse from another page i dint write this - let me know wht you think i wrote some of them.

not an error but it is funny- in D1 the players have fooball helmets and wrong equiptment-they really did make them look pathetic

When Julie Gaffeny knocks the 2 Iceland players over, she is ejected from the game. But later, after Adam scores the goal, The Iceland player winds his stick up over his head and crushes him, yet he only gets a 2 minute minor penalty

- in my opinion the wrist slash would have been an ejection from the game or elmination from the tounoment.

In the final game, Coach Bombay calls a time-out and supposedly that is where the switch of shirts between Russ and Goldberg takes place, so that Russ can fool the Iceland team and take his "knucklepuck" shot. However, when the timeout is called there is an overhead shot of all the Ducks, and you can see Goldberg in the center, facing Bombay, and Russ on the left of him (you can tell it's them buy the helmets and names on the shirts). After a shot of the Iceland team, it goes back to another overhead shot of the Ducks leaving to go back into play. None of the Ducks have changed position or barely moved, not even Russ and Goldberg, who need to move and trade shirts, which indicates that the shirt trade never happened.

In a shootout you aren't allowed to stop because once you stop you are done, so Fulton's goal and Gunner's shot would not have counted. [In a shootout, it is perfectly permissible to stop skating, just as long as the puck remains in motion and does not cross the goal line.]

When Gordon first meets the players, Goldberg tells him he will not be on the team much longer because he is moving away. However, this never happens, and no explanation is ever given.- think he said this because he dint want to be goalie any more. not sure

D1
my opinion:
McGill pushes Aaam into the post he gets a penelty wouldnt he be kicked out of the game?

: At no time can a player on the ice play without a helmet. It may be legal in professional hockey, but never in youth league games, world championships or not (This happens when the goalie comes out of the crease and takes his mask off to shoot his "knuckle-puck", as well as the penalty shot in the first movie.)

Numerous times during the film, the Duck players are on the bench without helmets. At this age, helmets would have been required to remain on at all times, or the team receives a bench minor penalty.

in d1 and d2- Fultons Jersy says Fulton not REED(not sure about D3)
d1
When Bombay asks Fulton to "Do it again" after shooting the puck, the first window he broke is fixed

Actually Goldberg does move! I'm pretty sure at the end of the second movie when everyone else is listing off where theyre from, everyone from the first movie says the same place except Goldberg who says something else. Obviously it's pretty close to where the first movie took place since they skated there at the beginning of the movie! :P

Goldberg still lives in the area in this movie. In the first movie he said his family was moving back to Philadelphia. So that, indeed, did not happen.

there is another error i realized when the team goes around saying where they are from Goldbrg says Philidelphia something but he lives in Minnisotta shouldnt he have said Minnisotta?

reply

Where you are from, and where you currently live are not the same.

The game tying goal has several errors in it (D2)

-Bombay calls a 30 second time out, not nearly enough time to get goal equipment on Tyler
-Tyler (classified as a goalie) removes his helmet. When a goalies helmet comes off, the play is supposed to stop (and if it is intentional, the goalie receives a delay of game penalty)
-Tyler steps over centre and shoots the knuckle puck. The goalie can not play the puck over centre
-he scores with no time left on the clock. In any level of hockey there'd be a discussion and protest over whether there was enough time.
-Teams are only allowed to dress 2 goalies. A third could be dressed in the case of injury to the first 2 but one of the first 2 would need to be scratched for the remainder of the game (and both goalies do play in the ensuing shootout).
-jersey changing is a serious infringement without notifying the referee and opposing team.
