What did Gordon mean by 'we'll see you again'??

I never understood what he meant at the end of the game when he shakes Wolf's hand and says "thanks Wolf, we'll see you again", was he talking about playing against them again next season or something??

It's just a goodbye phrase like "see you later." It's common in some parts of Minnesota.

I'm sure it's a coincidence but Bombay did land a job as director of player personal for the Jr. Goodwill Games in the 3rd movie.

Interestingly, D3 originally WAS supposed to return to the Goodwill games where the Ducks would face off against Iceland again but this time they'd lose to them. While I doubt when they wrote D2 they threw that line in there to hint at a sequel since they probably had no idea a D3 would be commissioned yet it's like another poster here said it's really just an expression like see you later or whatever.

Wow, wonder if Stanson would have changed his cheating ways this time.
