One thing I don't get.

First of all, I have loved this movie ever since I was little. I've seen it so many times, and I think it's better than the first.

But there's one thing about this movie that always bothered me and I just don't understand it. After Miss McKay gives them the day off,Coach Bombay has a sort of identity crisis, and we see him skating on the beach during sunset. One thing I don't understand is that he ends up being late to the next game and Miss McKay has to fill in until Bombay comes in blowing that duck call. Why the heck was he even late in the first place? How do you just forget the game start time?

I was a huge fan of this movie as a kid. There was a book that was released at the same time as the movie. It was the script written as a story instead of your normal script. If I remember correctly he goes to the track to look for the team only to be told they went to play hockey with some kid they met. So he went looking for them there to find Russ' brother and friends who helped Coach get to the venue.

I'm assuming it's a deleted scene from the movie. There was also a part in the book where Portman accuses Fulton or I believe it was Charlie of stealing a cassette tape of his. They were in a classroom and Ms McKay was teaching. It erupts into a fight so she calls off class that day. Her and Adam have a heart to heart talk about him trying to please his dad with hockey. I believe this all took place while they were still training in Minnesota. I know this to be a deleted scene because the book had screen shots of the movie in it and there was pictures of the classroom scenes.

Actually, if I recall, in the book, the blonde lady who works for the Icelandic team purposely gets Gordon lost. We don't see her stabbing Gordon in the back in the movie, but it's clear in the book.

I knew that woman was no good.

I had the book too but can't remember much about it. I believe it mentions Banks wins Dwayne's lasso game and ends up winning a bunch of pudding. (Seriously, this is what I remember.)

I also believe it sort of reverses Gunner Stahl's final shot in that his trademark is actually going stick side, but Julie guesses he'll go glove correctly and makes the save.

"That's my secret, Cap. I'm always angry."
