Was Michael Massee ever charged and prosecuted for shooting Brandon Lee?

He could've theoretically, checked that dummy rounds were loaded and acted accordingly since an already fired round was lodged in the barrel, something that wouldn’t be visible or known of had you not been the initial shooter.

Its not his job to check , hes not qualified to check , hes an actor , not an armourer

I don't think it would be the actor's responsibility in the end. What if they knew nothing of guns/prop guns? In the end it would come down to the Director and Producer to have final check on all weapons to ensure these things don't happen.
