Sand Cake

What is the desert that the father brought home for everyone? I think it was called Sand Cake, and i never heard of it.

I think it was like pound cake. Except made with sand.

basically Pound cake

DANISH SAND CAKE

1 cup butter
1 cup sugar
3 eggs
3/4 all purpose flour
3/4 cup Swan Potato Starch Flour
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/2 teaspoon grated lemon peel

Cream butter and sugar, add eggs, one at a time, beating well. Add sifted flour, starch, vanilla and lemon peel. Pour into a buttered loaf pan nd bake in a moderate oven for 45 minutes to one hour.
