Did the stewardess flip him off at the end of the film?

at the end of the movie when he sees the stewardess at the 7-11...i swear at the very last second of her driving away on the motorbike, waving at him, she turned the wave into flipping him off? did anyone else catch that? it looks like she did....

reply

I thought she was just waving. Her actions in the shop did not make it seem like she wanted to flip him off.

A middle finger in Asia doesn't mean the same as it does in other parts of the world.

i looked closely it looks like she did. First she turns and waves, turns back to the driver then turns back again and flips him off haha

Much like the n word it all depends on context. Since it's clear she was not angry w him , he didn't cheat on her ...etc she had no reason to flip him off in the pissed off driver way so the only logical explaination was it was done affectianetly " my n word "

I noticed it too. It happens very quickly, but I thought it fit the moment in the movie in a "cutesy" way.
A middle finger can have a plethora of meanings, and in this instance I felt it meant: "I like you, but I'm with someone else now, and we probably couldn't make it work anymore anyway. So here's my middle finger!"
