yeah ol' Tark didn't know the meaning of 'academically inelligible' as long as the guy had enough talent on the court. i'm a pretty prickly stickler for coaches who field teams where most players not only won't but can't graduate from college and even in some horrific cases where a player HAS graduated and is functionally illiterate.
but i always had a soft spot in my heart for Tark despite the fact that he pretty much ran a dirty program for many years ... they certainly were fun to watch and it was fun to see if Tark would finally chew a hole thru his 'worry towel' lol
