Hi,
could anybody tell me the name of the piece that's being played by the school's orchestra when the team enters the arena? It's not the first time I heard it so it's probably well known.

shareActually, I might be wrong on this (so feel free to let me know) but I think it's an orchestrated version of the intro to Ine Kamozie's old song "Here Comes The Hotstepper".
"Just once, just once, I would like to hear you scream....in pain." "Play some rap music."
After seeing it just an hour ago, they played that song (Here Comes the Hotstepper) first as a pre-game type of thing. The song they played when Nick Nolte came out is, I'm guessing, the Western University fight song specifically written for the movie (although what kind of fight song that's supposed to be, I have no clue)!
And, just as a clarification , the band is supposed to be a pep band, not an orchestra. An orchestra implies that they had string instruments (violinists, etc) where as the pep band that would play in the game are the wind instruments and the drums.
