Pitino??

Did anyone else that Rick Pitino was coaching Texas Western, who ironically was the team that played five black players versus Kentucky in the sixties. Kentucky of course being Pitino's team at the time. Texas Western went on to become UTEP. Just a weird choice for Pitino, given that he was coaching in a state that didn't take to the upset in the 60's very well.

I think I see your point, but you're missing a verb in your first sentence.

Did anyone else also see him COMPLEMENTING THE REFS??? Like that would happen...

Who cares? This movie was not about race relations in any way.

The ultimate irony of this is that Pitino's current program (Louisville) is now being investigated for conduct violations with recruits over the last 5-6 years. They are already banned from the postseason this year, with further bans and punishments possible. You'd think his participation in this movie would've taught him to stay away from this kind of thing, but it clearly did not...

Lol yep. I'm a huge UK fan and love it. Serves him right for coming back to coach at Louisville. Also Louisville fans deserve it for saying Cal was going to get us in trouble. Karma's a bitch.

Haters gonna hate
