Yes, Pete Bell is one of the select few coaches in movie history that have been nominated for the Buttermaker Hall of Fame.

Norman Dale, Head Coach of the Hickory Huskers wins it.

The football caoches are awful and just serves to remind how hollywood almost NEVER gets it right with football. Gene Hackman is on both sides. Great in Hoosiers and a joke in The Replacements.

Good selections but I definately think the late James Gammon's Lou Brown from the Major League movies deserves a nod.
