What does that mean, when Jeff Bridges' wife and daughter are in their house...and when they turn the dials on the oven, and the camera focuses intently on that, or when they plug something in into a socket.

it was meant to build suspense and make you think they were in danger.

Silly me...you're right. I'm sorry. I get it now. I watched it while not feeling well, so I found it harder to give as much attention. Meant to lead the viewer think they could potentially be activating a bomb left by Ryan Gaerity (Jones).

correctamundo! but yeah watching movies while sick will cause you to miss out on certain things. like Mr. Jones dancing to U2 hahaha!

That whole scene was intense and edge of your seat thrilling when I saw it in the theater years ago.

I'm certain my comment didn't add anything to this subject, but...oh well *shrug*
