Slow kiss ? WTF
It's kind disturbing that at the end of movie Shay (Karen Duffy), kisses this kid on the lips.
The fact that they had the 2 move in for a slow kiss was laughable and sick.
What the hell was the writer thinking ?

IT IS A Disney movie so what else were they going to do.
shareLook, it's artful ok? The movie is from the kid's POV. She could have leaned over and given him a quick little peck on the cheek, but in his mind, seeing her as a fantasy dream woman, he saw and felt what was shown on the film. Use a bit of imagination.
shareThat's what I was saying. I liked that. I was the kids age when that movie came out and I was like That lucky bastard got that hot chick to kiss him. So I liked it but that other dude didn't, oh well.
shareI know this topic has been exhausted, but when I was a kid, I wasn't thinking of the kiss in terms of the woman, just the boy. As an adult, however, I'm kinda finding it a bit...um...you know.
Couldn't imagine acting a scene where I kiss a child girl, so I'm kinda wondering what was going on in Karen Duffy's mind. Yeah, she "only" kissed his future mustache area, so it wasn't "directly" on the mouth, but it was still more than just an "I adore you as a sweet kid" kiss on the cheek. I know it's supposed to represent a kid's fantasy coming true and all, but the actress still had to touch her lips to his (and she wasn't playing his mother, so it wasn't simulating a mother son sorta kiss either). Just because it's only acting doesn't make it completely fake.
Tis uncomfortable indeed.
The R rated release. Can't wait for that to come out. I can't believe Disney has a R rated version of this movie. What Disney movie would you like to see R rated?

Bah, the rated-R version just has an extra 4 minutes!!! But that's a good movie though.
Sweet dreams.
If you don't eat this dead animal, I'll eat five!!
It is a bit weird for a Disney movie to have a grown woman kissing an 11 yr old boy on the lips. I'm surprised they let that stay in the movie. But I've noticed it's missing from the Disney Channel screenings.
