why did Roger have to see them?
I recently watched this movie for he first time in years, and there is something that I don't understand. It seems like after the Angels first winning game, whenever the angels helped the Angels in order to win, Roger had to inform the coach that there were angels around, and tell him who to have play in the game. This is especially noticable because the Angels lost the game that Roger wasn't able to attend or watch on TV. But if the angels were helping, why did Roger have to tell the coach who the angels were around?
Besides, when the angels first helped the Angels, Roger didn't tell the coach about which players the angels were helping. Shouldn't they have helped anyway, regardless of who they were taking care of at the time? And since Roger wasn't supposed to tell anybody, if Al already told him not to tell anyone before he told the coach, then he wouldn't have been able to let the coach know who to help.
