Disney correctly predicts Angels vs White Sox in the ALCS!!!!

And the Angels and Sox didnt play in the ALCS in the movie. It was a regular season game for the divison.

Either that, or it could've been a one-game tie-breaker. I don't believe the movie says whether it was the final scheduled game in the series, or a tie-breaker. But yes, the winner of the game was to be the AL West Champions (this was back in the day where there were only 2 divisions in each league, and only the winner from each division would make the playoffs).

2002 is over pal, So maybe teh movie takes place in 2002 if ya think about it.
