Does anyone agree that DS Toolan is under rated? I think he is a fantastic actor who is not used to his best ability; he is Frost's whipping boy. And I fancy the pants off him!!!

Yes I agree, DS Toolan is a very distinguished, attractive man and a fine actor. Why is he not on the IMDB cast list for A Touch of Frost? This must be an oversight, as DS Toolan appears in every episode.

He is on the IMDB cast list. He's under DCI Peters.

Wrong! The actor's name is John Lyons and he has now been added to the IMDB page.

Toolan makes Frost, and like Julie I think he is a very attractive man too. Cos he is so gentle I think. I saw John Lyons in episodes of George and Mildred recently as a decorator and a milkman, very small cameos but there he was looking rather dishy with blond wavey hair Ahh!! Wonder what he is doing now methinks, hang on, I might look it up on IMDB!!

He was in London production of Agatha Christie's play 'the Mousetrap' last summer, 2005 and he was easily the best actor on stage
