Do you think there will be a special episode in a few years time, such as for comic relief and stuff like that?

Unlikely. Frost is way over retirement age and assuming he is the same age as David Jason - 70 years old - isn't getting any younger either.

Since he didnt die, and since we didnt see him hand in his badge (even though he implied he was going to) then they can still bring him back if they want to.

I dont think age is a problem. But, in any case, what they could do is show him retired in a little village somewhere, and solve a murder privately. I think his Denton story is finished with Mullet's speech and George's death.
