No Season 13?

In the blurb to the latest boxset (Seasons 6-15) it is stated that 'there is no Season 13 as it was never made'. What happened, and if it wasn't made why not rename Season 14 as 13 and so on, so that there would be only 14 seasons? The full season listings on the main IMDB page list there being 3 episodes in Season 13, 'Mind Games', 'Dead End' and 'In the Public Interest' (which I have definitely seen, twice). Is it just a numerical mix-up or are there any episodes missing from the boxset? Wosgoinon??

Hiya hope i can help you , i believe there was no series 13 however there was a one off episode called endangered species which was released as a individuel dvd after it aired [ this is now included in the box sets and box set series 6-12 however i dont believe this was part of series 12 but would be classed as number thirteen .
the three episodes you mentioned were in fact series 14
