Russell Hunter in 'Fun Times for Swingers'

I've only recently begun watching the series on Netflix and came across the 4th Series episode, "Fun Times for Swingers." I was happily surprised by Russell Hunter's presence, having recently watched the entirety (such as is available) of Callan. It was so strange to hear his natural Scottish accent, after viewing so many episodes of his Cockney character, Lonely, in Callan. It's an amazing testament to his talent that he is thoroughly convincing as both a Cockney petty criminal and a Scottish police sergeant. He and David Jason played beautifully off one another, especially in the scenes where they talk about aging.

He was my favorite "sidekick".. I was really annoyed when at the end of the episode he announced his retirement lol
