If There Is A Reunion Movie

Though I pretty much doubt it for now,and if they do have a
reunion movie it might take place when the Salingers kids them-
selves are all grown up including Charlie's daughter Diana, and
unborn son with hew wife Kristan.Just as long as Jeremy London
plays Griffin whose own children with Stephanie are in the mix,and
I hope he and Stephanie have at least four biological children
whom I'm sure would be very spoiled just for having the two coolest
parents.Or we could come up with our own conclusion, and timeline.
Either way I don't mind, and I applause the whole cast for their
great work on this fine show, and wish them only the best for years
to come.

Loved the show but never had a desire to see a reunion happen. The series overstayed its welcome. When it ended, fans weren't left wanting more. Those still hanging in were glad to see it finally reach a conclusion.

reply

Not me, and I doubt we can safely say "those still hanging". I'd love to have seen more.

With Jeremy London struggling in rehab and both Hewitt and Fox on hiatus its doubtful we'll see any reunion. A reporter asked Hewitt about a reunion and she said she doubted it would happen.

While there may have been some still interested(you being one of them obviously), most had moved on from the show before it ended. Series started to decline in the ratings its last two seasons. Don't remember the exact numbers as its been years, but the ratings for the final season were almost identical to its ratings the first season and it was not a popular show that first year. In fact, it was almost canceled that first season. It had a sort of 'underground' following that year. Seasons 3-4 is when it got huge mainstream success and the writing was on the wall once its numbers started going in reverse.

The bean count on viewership is all well and fine but millions were still watching until the end, no matter that it was less than its hay day.

What changed the series was they were all growing up. They could no longer use the writing strategies they started out with.

It's all godd either way, everyone had gave it their all.So I
say God bless them all,and everything they do in the future.

You didn't watch first run Party of Five episodes Deannie. ALL of television sells commercial space, that's what makes television keep these shows on the air and Party of Five was no exception. Television couldn't survive without sponsorship. Party of Five promoted Dr Pepper, Neutrogena and a plethora of other items. No, they rarely used the Party of Five name but few television programs ever print the series' name on a product. They DID use Party of Five's name in one Dr Pepper promotion. The series name was printed on cartons of Dr Pepper to promote a Party of Five/90210 vacation giveaway one season.

Now children's programming DEFINITELY has more of that kind of thing, cartoon toys etc, Scooby Doo, Garfield and that purple hippo, tons of others, hehehe.
