Julia and Claudia's looks in the later seasons?

I was just wondering if people noticed that in the later seasons particularly season 4-6 that Julia's hair got shorter and more butch, while Claudia seemed to have gotten more attractive and feminine.

Julia looked like next mascot for Buster Boy Brown in
the episode Griffin gave her a red scarf to add color to
her outfit!
