I have to say that I am pleased with Charlie ending up with Kirsten and even Julia ending up with Justin. However, I was very disappointed in Baliey and Sarah never getting back together. I felt like she was his rock and was able to bring out of him his best self.
I'm hoping that Bailey heading East means he and Sarah somehow reconnect. I took him mentioning her in the end of the episode as a reminder that there once was a great love in his life; that being Sarah. Left me with some hope even thought I admit there wasn't much substance to it.

I think that's probably why they didn't pair Bailey off with anyone else. He and Sarah were only split up because producers wanted Jennifer Love Hewitt to have her own spin-off. So Bailey's ending is left open, which could be the writers' way of suggesting that he and Sarah will reunite eventually
