I'm watching the show for the first time on Hulu, and I'm hooked I'm mainly watching for Neve Campbell because I'm a huge Scream fan, but I love this show already after Episode 2.
Anyways, do you think Kirsten ruined the show? I mean it's called Party of Five, why add Kirsten? I thought the whole point of the show was the watch 4 sibilings try to take care of each other and their baby brother?
RUIN the show? That's a laugh. Just wait until you get further in. They couldn't move on from Kirsten. Anytime they remove her from the show, it goes in decline and they bring her back in. I'm not a huge fan of that character and wish she hadn't been brought back but once you see the dynamic without her, you'll be begging for her return.
The fallout over the wedding was the perfect 'exit stage left' moment for Kirsten. Instead they bring in Grace who almost ruins the show and then it was crystal clear even then that Kirsten would be coming back.
The writers didn't know how to handle the series without her. Why I do not know.
Oh, come on now. Don't hate on the appearance of Grace. One of the funniest scenes in the whole series is when Bailey's drunk, dressed as a clown, and calls Grace a b****. (Not sure if I should have hidden that as a spoiler or not, but better safe than sorry.) The delivery of that line is perfect.
shareThe storyline with Bailey as an alcoholic was great I agree(and yes that was funny) but Grace was bringing down the quality of the entire show. It got to the point where I cringed the moment she was onscreen.
The character just needed a few tweaks. She was a terrible person. She was selfish, arrogant, acted morally superior, etc. and she did not fit in with that family.
I LOVED when she decided to run for city council. I knew at that moment they were going to write her out of the show.
