I've come up with my own picks for the few of the roles. Any alternate casting ideas, or actors who could play the characters who aren't on this list?

Dorothea Brooke: Rachel Hurd-Wood

Celia Brooke: Bonnie Wright -- she looks like she could be Hurd-Wood's sister, IMHO, but would need to prove she can perform better than she does in Harry Potter

Mr. Brooke: Jonathan Pryce

Mr. Causabon: Robert Pickavance -- Only seen him in the pilot episode of "Foyle's War", and he might be too old, but he looks perfect, IMHO. http://domain1279954.sites.fasthosts.com/OldArchive/images/Robert-Pickavance-new.jpg

Love your pick for Dorothea. Is Andrew Hawley for Ladislaw? I could see Johnny Depp in that role... though he might be getting too old. Are there any younger actors with his same air of mystique?

Philip Winchester is good for the doctor-- very handsome.
