why was it canceld? it was good. my mornings in the summer were jenny jones and jerry springer!!

To my knowledge its because of the ratings.

And personally the show was on for so long and it had all these other talk shows to compete with.Maury does have better paternity test.

By what turned out to be the final two seasons, the show began to drop heavily in the ratings. It was nearly cancelled at the conclusion of season 11, but was saved by a last-minute deal with the Tribune station group, although the subsequent station shuffle necessitated in such key markets as New York, Chicago and Los Angeles didn't help the ratings erosion. In the 2002-2003 TV season, Jones' program became the lowest-rated daytime talk show, and after the last original episode aired that spring, Jenny Jones was canceled in the summer of 2003. Reruns continued to air until September 12, 2003.

Why did it end? Let's see..... I would say Jenny alienated alot of her audience. I mean a lot of her audience was white and 25+, so with all those rappers and what not (does she like rap by the way) she probably scared of most of her audience away. LOL

Do you mean the Scott Amedure incident? That's a likely cause, but the real cause is what you expect, poor ratings, but can you really blame this show? This is a prime example of how television has become a steaming pile of s*ht. It would've been better to end this show than to let it go on any longer.
