Calvin and the Slime Monster

OK, I realize that The Slime Monster story is a very silly one to get all worked up about in terms of inconsistencies, but I'm just having fun.

Anyways, at one point in writing the story for the contest, they get writer's block and decide to get past it by adding Ghostwriter into the story. There is some concern about whether they should give away the big secret, but decide that everyone will assume it's just made up like everything else in the story.

What no one remembers is that Calvin Ferguson, who isn't always on the best of terms with them, has already learned Ghostwriters name. If the story does get published, Calvin will definately read it, if only to prove to himself how mediocre it is, and he may decide "Hey, that sounds stupid, but if it's true it explains everything."
