Wish There Was a Real Ending.

I absolutely love this show and think it was one of the best educational programs produced by the Children's Television Workshop.

I first re-watched it on Youtube and took a real trip down memory lane. I ended up buying bootleg copies before finding out Shout! Factory was planning a DVD release. I ended up buying Season 1 as well.

One thing that always bothered me was that like many GW fans out there, I couldn't help but be let down that they never got to truly finish this series.

I guess in the end, it was for the best as the writers seemed to be running out of ideas and instead of aging the stories up, they added Hector and Casey in order to keep the show young.

Then there was the replacement Gaby. While Melissa Gonzales wasn't a bad actress, she just wasn't Gaby. She strayed way too far from Mayteana Morales that she couldn't help but be distracting.

Anyway, the best I could hope for is reading Fan Fics on fanfiction.net. There are actually some pretty good ones on there with a lot of crappy ones as well.

Yea, the last episode "Attack of the Slime Monster" wasn't really case, just a story the kids had written.

I wonder did the writers run of ideas for the show.

They didn't solve who the identity of Ghostwriter was.

Melissa Gonzales and Casey got only to appear in the last 2 cases, so they really did not get much of a chance to solve cases.

yes, i think so! he was trapped in that book in the basement...and he was from at least 100 years ago...and he was worried about "the children"...

OH MAN I loved those episodes! With the two kids Frank and Catherine back in the 1920's wow I used to love this show when I was younger.

Ghostwriter is a Time Lord. Yes, they can regenerate into double apostro-period thingies. Totally.

They need to make a movie that brings them all back. Set in the early 2000s when they are in college.

But they have to find all the original cast members
