Did anyone else read the book it was based on?
I did many years ago in Elementary School, I was surprised by how little the movie had to do with the book; The two kids were not present, there was no circus subplot, there was no Dr. Screweyes, there was no drug that made them violent again, no parade scene, etc. It was a pretty short children's book so I can see why they made so many changes to it though to make a movie about it, but besides making the dinosaurs smarter and coming to contemporary Earth as friendly and sophisticated beings the movie is pretty much "We're Back! A Dinosaur's Story...In-Name-Only".
I have an unbelievably long ignore list.
