And then again for Shrek (but slightly less shouty), his reusing material is probably his one flaw. The main reason Austin Powers in Goldmember was so crap is it was all jokes from the other 2.

I honestly don't mind that he re-uses material from his other sketches and characters. I always found it funny, looking back on his past performances, that he's used dialects that have become so popular with other characters he's made famous (the Scottish accent is most famous from Fat Bastard, but back then, he was using it many different times, so, to me, it's funny to hear it being used in a different context).
I figure, "If he wants to re-use material he's done in the past, then that's okay by me. It's when he starts stealing other people's material that I'll draw the line." share
lets not forget the joke that he uses with the people that have a strange thing in their body, like the guy with the eye on ww2, and the guy with the mole in goldmember.

Actually most of them come from SNL. Like all the Scottish stuff he's ever done he pretty much did on "All Things Scottish" on SNL, and later on "Scottish Soccer Hooligans" on SNL. Then he reused a lot of the same dialogue in "So I Married an Axe Murderer" like saying the kid's head was "like Sputnik; spherical but quite pointy in parts" which was from "All Things Scottish." So it was all pretty old hat by the time he did Fat Bastard.
Or the old Brit from "Theatre Stories" on SNL who couldn't control the volume of his voice, or would suddenly go horizontal, recycled in Austin Powers. Or that whole "that's the way uh-huh uh-huh I like it (KC and the Sunshine Band)" which was from SNL when he used to play the Prime Minister of Canada on Weekend Update, recycled for Goldmember. 90% of the funny stuff he came up with was on SNL and he just recycled it into the movies. A lot of Wayne's World bits were already done on SNL, like the Leprechaun bit, or "you're in a forest with Heather Locklear, and you're very warm ..." was on done on SNL first.

i find it funny everytime, and it
