Dwight's first wife
Does anyone remember any mention of Dwight's first wife? And why would she have left her kids behind with him, unless she passed away.
shareI watched this movie once a long time ago and rematched it today. I forgot that it was based on a true story and after watching it that's the part that really bothered me. To think there is a man who grew up in that household with Dwight as a step father is so awful and truly difficult for me to come to terms with.
Maybe it's because I had a wonderful father and although I did always realize how lucky I was, it's still difficult to accept that there are kids treated this way by their parents. It's so sad, we never know what goes on behind closed doors.
