What's the song that plays in the beginning of the movie? does anyone know that
share"Carly's Song" by Enigma. It is available on one of Enigma's CDs, as well as on the SLIVER Original Motion Picture Soundtrack. Great song for a could have been great flick.

sharehey, that part where she has settled into the apt, its a clasical piece, i see in the credits that i think it says "idil in f-minor, opus 7" not sure if its that song, but it seems to be a hard song to find. also not sure if i spelled it correct cuz its on VHS and not of the quality that we all take for granted with dvd. anyone recognize that classical piece please let me know what it is. thank you

This is a piece by the Czech composer Josef Suk and it's called Idyll in F-MInor Opus 7. You can find it on this CD:

You will like the rest of the pieces on the CD as well. It's call Czech Miniature Masterpieces and they are played by Antonin Kubalek.

It should be noted, however, that you will NOT find it under "Carly's Song" on anything but the OST. On Enigma albums, it's titled as "Age of Loneliness" with "Carly's Song" typically being relegated to a track suffix if it exists in the listing at all. Kinda makes me wonder, was the one track ever two?
sharei don't really think it was ever two different songs because i have both age of loneliness and carly's song maxi singles and they both have a remix from the jam and spoon duo which are exactly the same length and content. so i'm thinking they are one in the same song that michael cretu marketed as two by having all those different radio and other mixes $$$
