Wow! What a difference...

I just finished reading the book (Sliver) by Ira Levin, who wrote Rosemary's Baby and The Stepford Wives. The book is so much better than the movie that I can't believe they changed the plot so much! There's so much more suspense and all of the characters actually make sense. I highly recommend the book, even if you do like the movie.

The movie was just a lame excuse to get Sharon Stone naked and lots of cheesy sex scenes with ridicoulos acted out orgasims. I agree with that the book is definitely worth a read, and the movie is only for those that are true fans of Sharon Stone's assets.

William Baldwin....I know they are a few people that thought he was " sexy " in this movie. But he didn't do anything for me. They should have casted better looking guys.

RiversAttic was correct. This movie was touted as the next Basic Instinct after that movie was such a hit, and the plot was mixed up and left ambiguous to try to convey the same kind of mystery. In retrospect, even though at the time I became fascinated by the video voyeurism, the only good thing about it was its soundtrack.

You know, I've never had the the fuzzy end of a lollipop (sugar, "Some like it Hot") perhaps this is a veiled reference to a woman's genitals--whatdya think? Sounds like something like Billy Wilder would write!

I've just finished reading the book. Hard to believe the makers of the movie actually read it though.
