Did Anyone Else Notice.....

Did you also happen to notice in that same scene that Tom Berenger has his foot up on the desk... and you can see his sneakers. Which, by the way, are very much different than the ones we saw a couple of moments earlier creeping up the stairwell to attack Vida. This is another example of how Tom Berenger's character Jack only killed Naomi Singer. The rest... were all committed by Zeke Hawkins (William Baldwin).

Also, in the last scene with the police, when CCH Pounder and the other cops are questioning Sharon Stone in her apartment (re: Berenger's death), they allow William Baldwin's character to remain, caressing Stone (no, not Pounder!) and hearing her statement.

In real life, witnesses are NEVER questioned together, for fear that one's testimony will pollute the other's testimony, or that visual queues/gestures can allow one witness (who has more power in the relationship) to tamper with another one.
