The painting....


What did it mean when Paul said while riding off in the cop car, "the Czesan has to sides" or something to that extent? Did it mean that he himself had painted two different personalities, one a warrented man and the other a college student? Or it this WAY off? If someone could clarify this for me that would be excellent!

Just to clarify, it was the Kandinsky that has two sides, painted in contrasting artistic styles, what Ouisa referred to as chaos and control. I think there are a variety of interpretations to Paul saying that in the cop car, but the one that resounded for me was that we/he "paint" a life with two sides.
