Did Paul have sex with Rick in the Horse Carriage?

I watched this in a basic cable channel and when they were talking certain lines were bleeped, and then it cut to Paul kiss Rick & run out of the cab. I was confused on whether or not they had sex.

"We were somewhere around Barstow, on the edge of the desert, when the drugs began to take hold."

I assumed Paul only sucked Rick off. Does that count as sex?

Personally, I don't think they did. It might just be a figure of speech, you know when you say you just got ****ed when you got ripped off? Maybe in the other scenes, but not this one I think. Maybe he was talking about the 'experience' being the life experience about trust of blah blah something like that.nevrmind I'm still annoyed at the end, just finished watching it, I thought the ending would be something totally brilliant but it just .... ended. That was lame.

But why would he be telling his girlfriend that?

He may or may not have been penetrated, but he definitely got off. His silly post-orgasm expression says it all.

I actually got a gay read from Rick from the beginning. He seemed sort of starstruck by Paul, and if Paul wasn't the one to introduce him to gay life, someone else would have come along and done so soon enough.

Ase3327, are you saying Paul was, sort of, riding Rick's Pole--over Rick's pants? I don't see how that's possible.

Regarding Rick's suicide: That was never really explained. In fact, I think I'll start a new thread about this...

I guess I saw the g-rated version, as I didn't see the scene where "they did it". The plot suggests "they did it", because, as someone said earlier, 'why would he tell his girlfriend he did it if he hadn't". And Will doesn't close the carriage to just give the kid a nice little kiss on the cheek.

"What was his softspot? Just curious. I just finished watching the movie."

mabuddha-1, wake up and smell the butt-jockeys. They DEFINITELY had sex, and Rick LIKED it. Now he is from the midwest and sexually confused (although the two are not mutually exclusive). This is why he commits suicide.

Not according to President Clinton...

Oh YES they did! That's what upsets the wife so much!

In flashback.

Paul: I want to f_uck you.
Rick: I don't do stuff like that.
Paul: That's what makes it so nice. Because you don't.

Present time.

Rick: (to his girlfriend) And he did. And it was wonderful.

Yes Virginia...they had sex.

It's a dirty job, but I pay clean money for it.

In the play they do have sex.
In the movie it isn't shown, but when Rick comes back to his girlfriend he seems to admit having some sort of physical experience with Paul.

I always assumed they had oral sex...I think it would have been awkward to do anything else in that carriage.
