PBS Showing 8/22/09 - Obama political commentary?

Last night while watching this film for the third time or so, I couldn't help thinking that the programmers at PBS were having a laugh at their viewers' expense.

First of all, I like the film, the story, the actors, the questions it raises, etc. I'm not reviewing it, nor am I trying to start another thread about those topics. Just curious: did anyone see it last night (I think they're showing it today as well)and think it's a bit too timely.

The Paul character was compared to Obama in an earlier thread, pre-election, but it seems even more approptriate now. Captivating to white liberal elites, neither are what they seemed at first. Coincidence they show it now?

certainly could be possible that some cheeky people set it up. but i would say it's more likely coincidence.
