In the 'Did you know?' section of this film, they should mention that this film would never had been made if Stockard Channing wasn't cast as Ouisa. She starred in the Broadway version and the playwright, John Guare stipulated that if the play was adapted to a film, Stockard Channing had to reprise her role. No Stockard, no movie. Period. That's kind of one of the most well-known things about this film.
