Forgotten Childhood Films

I really wish this would be played more maybe on some of the Family Channels or premium cable packages. I miss the innocence that was childhood movies. Now it seems they're overhyped and have no thought to them. I was a fourth grader in 1999-2000 when our school principal read us The Secret Garden and we all were very much intrigued by the story. Our assignment was to create the perfect ending after Uncle Craven reconnected with Colin. If I could remember I had created this fantasy where Mary and Dickon got married, and Colin married royalty and used his handicap to better the medical industry as a doctor ( I know, some fantasy, but it made me feel so much better in the end lol). I loved the story so much that I rented the movie, and it turns out I had seen it before when I was much younger, but had no recollection of the film title.....then again I was 3 when the movie was released. Anyway I really appreciate the story and will definitely raise my future children on these books and movies.....I am also a Potterhead and love the many characters Maggie Smith portrays, I think she was very convincing as the housekeeper. It is just a shame that some of these gems are 'forgotten' after years of wear and tear.

I never understood why this film didn't get more attention. It's exceptionally well executed.
