Are they ever going to release this in Blu-Ray?

I know, I know. It's impossible to release it in Blu-Ray since the equipments they probably used while shooting it could only work for lower definitions. But then again, there are old films that are on Blu-Ray now... and I honestly think this film would be beautiful in Blu-Ray (especially the garden shots!)

It's absolutely possible to release it on blu-ray if they wanted to. It has in fact already been shown on HD TV internationally.

Any film shot on 35mm has far more resolution than HD requires when scanned at a high quality (the amount is debatable but it can be double, if not triple, the resolution of blu-ray).

I too eagerly await this one to be released, though I don't imagine it will be likely sadly.

if you saw it in HD, then a BR master is sitting around.

The Blue Ray of this is presupposed at Blue Ray.com, where it has a placeholder and a picture of the cover
