This movie deserves a BluRay remaster

I'm all about remastering old movies. This one deserves a good treatment, although it might be nard to get...There are a few very dark scenes in the movie that I anticipate would be almost impossible to clean it up and make them look HD material. In any case I hope they do it.

It would definitely look better on blu-ray.
It's already a beautiful film, but it could use a face lift.

35mm film is already well beyond HD quality (original negatives are between 4K-6K depending on format and film stock). As Blu-Ray discs are usually made from the negatives, I don't think there's any "cleaning up" or upscaling they'd have to do.

Amazon has it streaming in HD and it looks great.
